We will drive through the Atlantic coast of Maldonado district, arriving to José Ignacio, a beach town, which has been chosen in 2021 as one of the 100 top world beach towns by Time magazine.  On the way we will visit the heart of La Barra beach as well as other very outstanding beaches, Montoya, Bikini Beach, Manantiales, Punta Piedras.   We will continue to José Ignacio Lagoon  which changes shape continuously.  From there we will continue to Garzón Lagoon and its peculiar environment.    Then we will visit  José Ignacio where we will  take some time off to walk through its beaches, buy  art crafts, optional visit to the old lighthouse.  There are various very good restaurants.  While we return towards La Barra beach town we will get to  visit the Contemporary Art Museum established by artist Pablo Atchugarry.
