We will leave in the morning towards Montevideo, Uruguay’s capital city . We will go through the most important attractions and in order to discover the city , we start through the old City, the Matriz Square, the Cathedral, the Port Market where we will have lunch, and we will continue towards Independence Square, Avenue 18th of July, downtown commercial district. Then we will continue to the Parliament House, national congress building inaugurated in 1925 built by Architect Cayetano Moretti, considered worldwide the third most beautiful Parliament building. We will continue to the Agriculture Market, considered National Historical Monument where we will have a few minutes to go around and visit the stalls. We will then visit the Centenario Stadium, world soccer monument. At the Battle Park or Allied Park you can take some photos of the Stage Coach monument. It is worth to do a brief stop at the Montevideo words sign in a beautiful environment in Pocitos Beach and overlooking the beach coast surrounding the city. Finally we will go to Carrasco residential neighborhood finalizing the tour and returning to Punta del Este.
